I’ve been interested in photo collage as a modality for storytelling since I took a Basic Adobe Photoshop course with Professor Stephen Marc at Arizona State University in 2004.
Twenty years post-graduation, I have traveled to numerous political hotspots, including Afghanistan, Guatemala, Haiti, Cuba, Lebanon, Palestine, Cyprus, and Turkey- countries whose futures are often shaped by U.S. foreign policy. My multilayered narrative collages weave together images to tell stories about local and global social issues.
As a cat lover and rescuer, I often include photographs of cats in my photocollage.
